Cabaret

“CABARET at Ephrata Performing Arts Center is Bold and Captivating”

Kelli Curtin, Theatre Sensation

This romantic tale of the young British dance gal Sally Bowles, played by Martha Wasser, and American writer Cliff Bradshaw, played by Sean Deffley, is highlighted through their experiences in depression-era Berlin. All are welcome to enter the Kit Kat Klub while Cabaret Emcee Nick Smith offers enticing insight as he brings the audience inside to feel the passion that winds throughout this classic Broadway musical.

Listen to Cabaret’s Nick Smith (the M/C) talk about the production on EPAC’s new EPACcast podcast. (run time 30:15)

Cabaret’s popular musical score, with numbers like “Money” and “Maybe this Time,” under the musical direction of Andrew Cusano will leave you spellbound. The signature element of this show, its dance numbers, choreographed by local masters Kristin Pontz and Pat Kautter, promise to provide a feast for the eyes.

TV Commercial

Cabaret will be directed by EPAC Artistic Director Edward R. Fernandez, and the Sharadin Bigler Theater’s intimate setting should provide Mr. Fernandez with the perfect pallet on which to tell his story.
